What gifts are allowed in our transportation systems?
Whether it is a Mother's Day gift, a Father's Day gift, a Christmas gift or a birthday gift, many products or goods are considered non-transportable and are therefore formally forbidden in our transport networks.
For example:
- Cosmetic products
- Perfumes
- Alcohol
- Tobacco and all its by-products
- Perishable food gifts (such as fruit gift basket, gourmet food, wine gift basket, baked goods etc.) cannot be handled by carriers such as DHL, UPS or FedEx
- Money in cash

How to prepare your gifts?
Please note that regardless of the country of destination, all gifts must come from a natural person and not simply from a company even if it's a corporate gift(indicate PERSONAL NAME + COMPANY NAME if you are a professional) and must also be addressed to a clearly named individual.
How to pack your gifts for shipping?
Before having a gift delivered, the packaging is essential, since before completing the shipping information in our comparator, you must weigh and measure your merchandise once it is packaged. It is the dimensions and weight of your packaged merchandise that you must enter in our comparator in order to avoid making mistakes, and to avoid additional billing from the carrier.
Whatever your gift ideas are, be sure to wrap them properly as well as weigh and measure them appropriately.
NB: we strongly recommend to our users to wrap their gifts in a rigid packaging with flat and regular shapes in order to avoid any problem during the transport of your goods.

The above weights and dimensions are average estimates and include only the merchandise and not the packaging. These are estimates to give you an order of magnitude depending on the gifts you wish to ship.
Please ensure that your packaging complies with the terms and conditions of the carrier selected for your shipment. If your packaging does not comply, you may be subject to additional charges from the carriers.
⚠️Please note that the courier may take charge of your package and deliver it anyway, but this doesn’t mean that your package is in order. You are exposed to additional billing because of the type of packaging. Not only may your shipment be damaged in transit, but also an additional charge may be issued by the carrier for "non-conforming packaging":
Very often, the packages that are charged back for non-conforming packaging are :
- Flexible, soft, non-rigid packaging
- Non-rigid suitcases
- Bags used as a container and not as a content (i.e. the bag is used as a packaging for the package)
- Overfilled packages that deform the package (convex walls, curved or bulging cardboard)
- Cylindrical, conical or curved packages: which do not pass on the automated lines because of their shape, and thus require additional handling

For small gift boxes whose weight does not exceed 20 kg, you can ship with the following carriers:

The golden rules for a fast and trouble-free delivery
- Provide the most accurate information possible to ensure smooth delivery (give exact dimensions and weight).
- Indicate the contents of the package as "Personal Effects", "Merchandise", or "Gifts" depending on its nature
- Use rigid packaging with flat surfaces
- Attach the shipping bill and pro-forma invoices for shipments outside the European Union
