What does BtoC mean?
The term BtoC (or B2C) business to consumer designates a commercial exchange between companies and consumers (or individuals).
Example of a business to consumer transaction, a website that sells sunglasses (retail) is a BtoC site. Or a restaurant is a B2C service. It is a product or a service aimed at final consumers.
Companies determine their potential consumers based on the products or services they will offer.
What’s the difference between BtoB and BtoC?
The BtoB refers to a commercial action between two professionals or two companies, for example an e-commerce site that sells computer motherboards to hardware repairers is a BtoB commercial action.
Whereas as mentioned above, a b2c strategy is a commercial action between a company and a private individual.
